Russell Scanlan Strikes Up New Sponsorship Partnership with Beeston Hockey Club

Nottingham based independent insurance broker, Russell Scanlan has stepped in to support Beeston Hockey Club’s plans for a new preseason National League women’s and men’s tournament that will take place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September 2021. The £1000 sponsorship will allow the club to offer prize money and trophies for the four winning teams. Over 65 clubs registered their initial interest to take part in the tournament 28 national league teams due to take part in the competition. 14 women’s teams and 14 men’s teams split into four divisions. The funeral of Andy Jenkins, Operations Director at Russell Scanlan, will take place at 2.00p.m. 4th September, at Loughborough Crematorium. Russell Scanlan will be closing the office on that day & the team will not be at their desks, as a mark of respect. It is with great sadness that we share the news that our Operations Director, Andy Jenkins, passed away over the weekend, at home and with his family by his side. Andy had been bravely battling cancer for some time but throughout had kept in contact with the team at Russell Scanlan to lend his support and to pass on his passion for the business. Russell Scanlan has lent its support to two distillery clients that were quick to switch their production lines from artisan gin to much needed hand sanitiser in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nottingham-based independent insurance broker, Russell Scanlan, has announced its Charity of the Year for 2020 is Macmillan Cancer Support, the UK’s leading cancer support organisation.  The team will focus its considerable fundraising efforts for the year ahead on the charity, which provides information and support, and campaigns on a wide range of issues for people affected by cancer.   Russell Scanlan’s Charity Committee made up of team members with a passion for charity work, will spearhead a variety of fundraising initiatives, including an annual leave raffle, tuck shops and a Great British Bake Off-style baking challenge.  The company is already planning two big fundraising challenges, the first of which will see eight members of the team take on a 26–mile hike across the Peak District in the Summer.    The…
