SIBA Midlands Beer Competition Results

The full results of the SIBA Midlands Beer Competition sponsered  by Russell Scanlan and held yesterday as part of the Robin Hood Beer Festival at Nottingham Castle are now available at www.siba.co.uk.

Judging took place from 11.00 to find the winners of the 8 categories who then went forward to the final, from which the winners were selected after a gruelling judging process!!

Mike Dickinson and Tony Rockley had the arduous job of judging the beers in various categories and in the final itself evertually leading to the announcement of “Gobble” from the Great Oakley Brewery as the overall winner.

“The standard of the beers overall was very high, and congratulations go to not only the winners and runners up in the various categories” but those who submitted over 200 beers in total to the competition.” commented Mike.
