Top broker joins Russell Scanlan

John Mahon (Above) joins the firm this week (w/c 13th August 2012) as a Servicing Director and will be based at the offices in Desford Hall on the outskirts of the City.

The appointment forms a pivotal part of Russell Scanlan’s business growth strategy to broaden its client base. Earlier this year, the firm announced strong half year figures, with performance showing an increase in both turnover and profit margins.

John will be part of an experienced and growing team that has been charged with building on this success to expand further into the Leicester market. He’s set to work alongside Jim Hull and Ian Fox, and brings with him a wealth of expertise having previously worked for national and regional brokers, most recently for Hinckley based Towergate.

Managing Director Bryan Banbury said: “John will be a real asset to the businesses, bringing with him extensive sector knowledge and some fantastic contacts. This will really complement the skills and specialism that we already have in place within the Leicester team through Jim Hull and Ian Fox.
