Russell Scanlan Proud Sponsors of New Nottingham Restaurant and Bar Awards
Russell Scanlan is proud to announce it is sponsoring the new Nottingham Restaurant and Bar Awards (NRBA) 2017/2018 – and this week was invited to the exclusive launch of the awards’ website.
The launch took place at title sponsors Adtrak’s offices in Nottingham city centre where Russell Scanlan heard from the other sponsors and talked to them about common ground.
The NRBAs were historically one of the biggest and most successful events on the Nottingham calendar and after a few years off, they’re now back with a bang and have added a new category for bars in order to acknowledge their creativity, diversity and their importance to the local economy.
Managing Director at Russell Scanlan Bryan Banbury said: “Thanks to NRBA organisers Big Table and title sponsors Adtrak for their hospitality and warm welcome at the launch of their website and for the marketing package for sponsors which they revealed – it was quite some surprise how extensive and far reaching the plans are for social media reach and brand exposure!”
The Russell Scanlan team is now looking forward to visiting some of Nottingham’s best bars and restaurants during the judging process. They have picked to sponsor the Best Bar or Pub category, so no doubt will be frequenting some of our city’s newest and oldest watering holes to make sure they’ve got a good feel for the competition!
Bryan added: “We’re thrilled to be sponsoring these awards which will acknowledge the pure talent and passion in the bar and restaurant sector in Nottingham. We picked to sponsor the Best Pub or Bar category because it fits so well with our specialist knowledge of the brewing sector, as the first insurance provider to offer coverage for the brewery and craft beer industry through our Masterbrew team.”
The voting period for the awards will take place from September 7th to October 6th after which votes will be counted and nominated venues in each category will be visited anonymously by independent judges. Winners will be announced at Colwick Hall on January 31st 2018.
