Jon Reaches Dizzy Heights for Linden Lodge

The team at Russell Scanlan is delighted to report that Jonathan Hale (husband of Russell Scanlan Accounts Administrator, Rebecca Hale) has raised a whopping £1,934 for Linden Lodge Neurological Unity in Nottingham – which also happens to be the Russell Scanlan chosen charity for 2016 – with his sponsored sky dive.
The adrenaline-fuelled challenge marked a particularly outstanding achievement for Jonathon, who was admitted to the unit himself only 12 months ago.
“I was a resident at Linden Lodge last year and thanks to the specialist help and support especially the physiotherapy, occupation and speech therapy I made a full recovery.
“I thought raising money with a charity skydive would be a great way to mark my successful recovery. The team at Linden Lodge were remarkable and I’m thrilled with the amount I have managed to raise for such a deserving cause.”
Smashing his original target of £300, Jonathon’s grand total will make a significant contribution to Linden Lodge, including its specialist re-ablement team, which provides a community service that allows patients to leave hospital earlier and receive invaluable treatment in the comfortable surroundings of their own home.
Sales and Marketing Director at Russell Scanlan, Mike Dickinson, said: “We have seen first-hand how much Linden Lodge makes a positive difference to the community we live in and the rehabilitation they offer there is second to none. The team at Russell Scanlan is so proud of what Jonathon has achieved and were more than happy to contribute to help him reach his grand total. His incredible feat has certainly spurred on our fundraising efforts for Linden Lodge.”
