Russell Scanlan Going for Gold with Museum Sponsorship
Nottingham’s largest independent insurance broker, Russell Scanlan, has announced it will be a gold sponsor of the city’s Galleries of Justice Museum’s major annual fundraising event of the year.
The business will play an important role in supporting the Unique Connections Banquet on the 23rd of March at the Park Plaza Hotel, in aid of the museum’s Help a Child Appeal – which raises funds from statutory agencies, businesses and individuals in order to provide crime prevention educational activities for Nottinghamshire children.
Bryan Banbury, managing director at Russell Scanlan, said: “It’s important to us that we are an active part of the Nottingham business and wider community, so we are thrilled to be able to work with The Galleries of Justice Museum again this year. The museum is a Nottingham institution, the work it does not only as a tourist destination but as a charitable trust is truly commendable.
“Russell Scanlan’s gold sponsorship is also a great opportunity to support a local charity that makes a significant difference in our city. The Unique Connections banquet is set to be a brilliant event and we are looking forward to being a part of raising as much as possible for the Help a Child Appeal.”
Nicola Burley, Executive Director at the charity, added: “We are delighted that Russell Scanlan has chosen to sponsor us. The continued support of corporate partners is what makes our Unique Connections events such a success and the upcoming banquet will be our best yet.
“We can’t thank the team enough for their support of the museum’s educational work – it’s great to have them on board again this year.”
Russell Scanlan has previously sponsored the ‘Law and Order More Beer’ festival at the Galleries of Justice Museum in 2014 and held its mock cybercrime trial in partnership with law firm Browne Jacobson there in 2015.
